Had a halloween party the weekend before last and although (as usual) getting everything set up was a bit rushed, it turned out pretty well. My colors were pumpkin-inspired bright orange and lime green.
Here are a few shots of the snack table. In this first one, you can kind of see the cheese fingers we made. Also, the pumpkin mousse, which I made way too much of and couldn't find a bowl big enough to hold all of it:
Nice shot of the pumpkin cheese ball I made:
In this one, you can see the caramel apple dip I made in my cute skeleton bowl:
Close-up of the carrot fingers (the pinky was kind of falling apart at this point):
Close-up of the pumpkin cheese ball (I think this was my favorite thing I made):
My favorite quick party recipe, tortilla roll-ups (can't find the recipe at the moment but will post it at some point), but I did them in Halloween shapes instead of rolling them up:
The green and orange candy bar, with orange chocolate malt balls, Granny Smith apple gummy bears, gummy frogs, gummy apple rings, peach jelly beans, pear jelly beans, candy pumpkins, and orange slices (and you can see the handblown ghost and pumpkin I bought on the boardwalk in Asbury Park!):
My favorite picture from the party: apple martinis in chemistry flasks:
We also made candy corn cordials (just a cell phone picture for this one):
And some pictures of my Sleepy Hollow village:

A special thank you to our friend Scott Chambers for taking these pictures!
And finally, a shot of the starry pumpkin (actually, Funkin) I carved:
It was definitely a good Halloween - now time to plan my holiday party!
