Lately I've been obsessed with monthly sample boxes/surprise packages/subscription thingies. I've pretty much signed up for any I could find.
I received my first one last week from Fair Ivy - the Fun Ivy package and the Fair Ivy (women's) package. Unfortunately, I tore open the box and put all the items in their new homes before getting the idea to review them here, so I had to run around gathering them all again for a kind of pathetic photo shoot:

I also forget which package each item was in, but between the two of them, I got:
Jelly beans- immediately torn open so I don't know the company. Also, this was a quite generous bag of jelly beans...look at it now.
a fuzzy pink heart ring (not sure who made it)
Fingerstaches
Talk bubble paper clips
a double pen for alternating between writing with red and blue ink (or both). I think this was a Kikkerland product but it doesn't seem to be available anymore.
A bar of soap from Mathair Earth
a tote bag that folds up inside a watermelon
a tea towel from Oh Little Rabbit
a lovely nest necklace- it didn't say who made it. Close-up of necklace (and fuzzy heart ring peeking over the side of the box):

I was pretty amazed by the quality of all the items and it was obvious that a lot of care had been taken in choosing each one. Every item is something I can use or save for a gift. Speaking of gifts, I'm pretty sure a few people on my list are gonna get Fair Ivy subscriptions for Christmas this year, so I'm kind of hoping they don't see this blog post.
I think the ONLY thing that would make the boxes better would be if they included an info card listing the contents of the box since some of the items that don't have company/crafter names on them (and also for when I eagerly tear open the packages and can no longer tell who made the stuff).
